Built on firm ground

One particular highlight in the Volkswagen Autostadt was the event marking the 5-year jubilee which attracted some 20,000 visitors.

Star acts such as Silbermond and the Söhne Mannheims appeared in an unusual setting and filled the guests with enthusiasm.

This setting was an impressive open-air stage including sophisticated light and sound technology which we had installed in the 4-meter deep lagoon situated in front of the Seat pavilion.

The highest safety standards and night construction times between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. made this project a particular challenge.

The construction and technology was really put to the test by a severe storm the night before the event. It passed this test without any problem.

We again exceeded the demands of Autostadt GmbH with the support of 6 divers and meticulous planning.
