| Jazz & Blues Festival 2007 Impressive light staging at the 4th International Jazz & Blues Festival After the enormous success of the last festival in August 2005, the Autostadt park provided the setting for a great event on July 14 and 15. 18 bands and soloists including great perform-ers such as swing legend Paul Anka, star guitarist Al di Meola and soul queen Randy Craw-ford appeared on two open-air stages and delighted some 24,000 visitors. Leyendecker GmbH, responsible for setting up and implementing the lighting, expertly high-lighted the performances of the individual artists in collaboration with Live Audio, responsi-ble for sound. The set-up conditions represented a special challenge to the crew since work could only be carried out at night between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. 10 technicians and 12 assistants set up the equipment, transported in 5 semi trailers, in 5 nights and ensured the smooth set-up and dismantling of the open-air event equipment.
