Daimler Service Summit 2007

"Inspire with commitment. Convince with performance."

For the fifth time, the Mercedes-Benz Sales Organization (MBVD) held its biennial Service Summit in three exhibition halls, four pavilions and the Convention Center at the Hanover fair site. From October 25-27, 2007 more than 7,000 employees from Mercedes Benz specialist workshops attended seminars and workshops as well as a trade exhibition including more than 100 internal and external exhibitors who presented their companies and provided information on the newest technologies in truck and passenger car service. Evening events in the pavilions and especially the concluding concert by the German pop singer Sascha, famous for his hits "If you believe" and "I'm still waiting", completed the service summit.

Leyendecker GmbH was not only responsible for the entire rigging and the lighting of the three exhibition halls, the individual training rooms in the Convention Center and the pavilions but also for the elaborate exterior lighting of the Expo roof. There was also the stage for the Sascha concert, including rigging, lighting and an LED wall to be set up and lit. This was achieved using ma-terial transported in 14 semi trailers by a production manager, 5 technical managers, 30 tech-nicians and on some days up to 40 assistants.
