Jubilee at Volkswagen
Leyendecker GmbH stage-managed the evening event celebrating the 25 millionth Golf
26,000 guests celebrated the production jubilee in Wolfsburg on June 3, successfully staged by Leyendecker GmbH. Starts like Paul Young, Peter Maffay and Chris de Burgh honored the evening event which was presented by Thomas Gottschalk.
The celebrations ended with an impressive firework display at the highpoint of which a banner was unrolled between the two Car Towers. This was achieved by Leyendecker GmbH setting up a traverse at a height of 80m placed on two specially developed supports on the towers using a 100t-crane of lifting height 110m. An ingenious wire rope hoist system meant the 20m x 20m poster with an area of 400m² could be unrolled smoothly during the fireworks.
We also set up four special PA towers as well as a rig construction for a 6*4 LED wall. We would also like to thank Lück consulting engineers for the special statics calculations required at very short notice.
